I edited this picture that i took at Llandudno beach. i used the hexagon lasso tool to select parts of the pebbles in the foreground. i then clicked on select at the top, and then used ‘invert’. the next step was to click on filter, and then the option of blur. i used gaussian blur, and altered the level to make the background out of focus. i then repeated these steps, getting closer and closer to the bottom of the photograph, but using less and less blur. this allows the blur to be blended in, making the effect less harsh. i also altered the curves to make the shadows on the stones more prominent and the sky a little more blue ^__^
